Our Equipment

A row of biomass gasification CHP units installed in a plant hall

PRODUCTS

Developed in the field, for the field

We do not only assess equipment. Where the machine a project needed did not exist, we developed it.

Fuel drying is the persistent bottleneck in small-scale biomass gasification. Gasifiers need consistently dry, correctly sized chips, and most drying equipment is designed for a scale that small plants cannot justify. Dried Sieve® was developed in response, from a live project requirement.

DRIED SIEVE®

Compact continuous dryer with integrated particle-size screening

Screens and dries biomass chips in a single unit. It runs on approximately 85°C hot water — the waste heat a gasification CHP plant already produces — and delivers chips at 10% moisture (wet basis).

  • Screening and drying combined in one machine
  • Driven by gasifier waste heat (approx. 85°C hot water), requiring no additional fuel
  • Continuous production of chips at 10% moisture (wet basis)
  • Demonstrated at over 125 kg/h throughput, enabling one week of continuous CHP operation
  • Sized for small-scale biomass gasification plants

Jointly developed with Hokuyo Jitsugyo Co., Ltd.

SUPPLY

Supply outside Japan

Dried Sieve® is available for supply from Japan.

Every enquiry begins as a technical discussion rather than a quotation, because the unit has to be matched to your fuel properties, your available waste heat and your installation space. Tell us what you are drying, at what throughput, and what heat source you have — we will tell you whether our equipment fits before we quote.

Talk to an engineer before you commit

The first consultation is free of charge, and we are glad to help you frame the question. Anything you send us is protected under Article 45 of the Professional Engineer Act.
